ROB FAIRBANKS & Dagmara Kwiatkowska

FINANCE MANAGERS

Rob and Dagmara (also known as Dags)  look after the finances across the organisation. They also currently work together at a textile company, that has close ties with In Place of War.

Dags is the main contact for day-to-day enquiries. She is an experienced finance officer, currently studying towards ACCA qualification. Working previously in the Education and Recruitment sectors, she is very passionate about her financial responsibilities. Being involved in a charity work in her spare time, she is happy to help and support those in need. Dagmara is very excited to be part of In Place of War to learn and undertake new challenges.

Rob works as a Finance Director and has past experience with third sector and environmental organisations. He previously worked for an aquatic consultancy in Greater Manchester for almost 20 years. The organisation worked on in-shore water quality, river restoration, fisheries habitat and more recently bird migration surveys for off-shore wind farm research, design and installation. These projects included close liaison with the local communities, stakeholder groups and voluntary organisations. Outside of work, he is a keen sportsman and has completed various marathons across the continent.

Dagmara and Rob join In Place of War in 2023, bringing a high level of practical experience to the management team.
