Uganda Tracks
In Place of War brought a group of international musicians and producers from the UK and Germany to Uganda. We travelled the length of the country visiting amazing change-makers running cultural spaces and creative organisations including Bavubuka Foundation in Kampala and Northen Uganda Hip-Hop Culture in Kitgum. The artists collaborated with local musicians in the cultural spaces, and here are some of the resulting tracks spanning genres from rap and hip-hop to Afrobeat and soul.
