TIUNA EL FUERTE / VENEZUELA

Tiuna El Fuerte, is a cultural centre in a marginalised suburb of Caracas (Venezuela). ‘Over the past 15 years, our goal is to foster social transformation in communities in need through artistic expression and musical events in critical and conflict urban areas’. In times of COVID-19, the organization has created a mobile radio station and soundsystem ‘Radio Verdura’ that drives across the city blasting out music and messages about health and from loved ones, and as people come to their windows, they feel a true sense of connection again.
