NATIVE INSTRUMENTS EQUIPMENT DONATIONS
In Place of War is delighted to announce an exciting partnership with Native Instruments. Represented on our newly formed Global Music Industry Advisory Board, Native Instruments have generously committed to donate cutting-edge hardware and software to 10 organisations in our change-maker network across countries including Columbia, El Salvador, Kenya, Palestine, Venezuela and Zimbabwe.
Their contribution will make a significant impact on the resources and potential creative output of the recipient projects In Place of War supports in these locations. Jonas Sudendorf, Director of Community & Partnerships at Native Instruments in Berlin, says, “Music and creativity are powerful tools. They can help to build communities that drive progress, resistance and positive change. We are excited to partner with In Place Of War and bring new music technology into the hands of the change-makers in areas of conflict around the world. Together, we hope to support and inspire music creators and their communities to have a larger impact and create their version of the future of music together.“
Future plans for developing the partnership involve mentoring and global creative collaboration, the results of which will be shared on our social media channels.
The In Place of War team and those running the projects supported by the partnership would like to thank Native Instruments for sharing our belief in the transformative power of music and creativity.
