MUSIC SHAPED is a new project that pairs musical icons with exceptional visual artists to create works reflecting how music has influenced their lives. It starts with a recorded conversation between the visual artist and the musician, and results in the visual artist producing a new piece of work, telling the unique story of the musical artist. 

The collaborative process sees the visual artist drawing ideas from the conversation, thinking about those catalytic moments when music shifted things; and memories - places, landscapes, environments, objects - things that are symbolic, as well as colours that hold significance, and specific music that has influenced them.
